Former City Council Member Fernando Cabrera is running against her, hoping for a political comeback. He says rising crime and housing costs pushed him to run again.

Bryan Hodge Vasquez says he's running for City Council because District 14 needs to tackle the change he says the district needs to see.

The 24-year-old law school graduate has experience working with Congress and City Hall.
