The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to find three men who they said shot a 50-year-old man in Morrisania and then took off on bicycles.

It happened around 10 p.m. on June 5, but police just released photos of the trio they’re searching for.

The incident occurred near St. Ann’s Avenue and East 161st Street, which is located about one block away from the NYPD’s 42nd Precinct.

Officials said the victim was shot in the left arm, then taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police said one of the gunmen was last seen wearing a black sweater, black sweatpants with white stripes and black sneakers. The second shooter wore a dark-colored sweater with a black ski mask. The third man is described as wearing a light-colored sweater, a dark-colored vest, black pants and a black ski mask.

People who live nearby told News 12 that gunshots are too common in the community.

“Since I’ve been living here in this neighborhood…every night you go to sleep to gunshots,” said Victor Sierra, of Morrisania. “This is how it is in this area.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
