14-year-old girl groped by man inside a subway station

The teen was on the platform of a D train when the man approached and tried to strike up a conversation.

Police say that a 14-year-old girl was groped by a man inside a subway station.

The incident happened on Aug. 21 at around 8:35 p.m. at the 174-175 Street subway station. The teen was on the platform of a D train when the man approached and tried to strike up a conversation.

The girl walked away but the man followed her up the staircase and grabbed her backside before escaping out of the train station. The teen was not physically hurt.
