News 12 spoke with multiple Wakefield residents about tractor-trailers being left for days on the Nereid Bridge.

"They're filling up the bridge, it looks like an industrial zone," said a resident named Tony.

Neighbors say the tractors are more than an eyesore, they are also dangerous.

“When I’m driving, sometimes I forget this is a two lane, like when you turn onto Billiard because the truck is right there," said a resident named Demetrius Weathers.

Numerous 311 complaints have been filed, and residents like Tony say they've reached out to local officials.

“The Yonkers side says it's not their jurisdiction, and on the Bronx side they say they’ll get to it," said Tony.

According to New York traffic law, it's illegal to park on any bridge or elevated structure unless there is a sign or other markings permitting it.

No such signage currently exists.
