Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who snatched a chain from the neck of a 10-year-old girl Friday in West Farms.
Investigators say it happened as the child was walking in front of 714 East 176 St.
They say the man approached her, demanded the chain, stole it as she attempted to run and then slapped her.
