Candidates for NYC mayor travel across the boroughs on the eve of Election Day

The top three candidates for New York City mayor took a tour of the boroughs on the final day of campaigning.
Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani walked the Brooklyn Bridge alongside his supporters and local leaders on the eve of Election Day in New York City.
Mamdani's campaign marched through Manhattan to end up in City Hall Park.
"More than 735,000 New Yorkers have already voted, and countless more will decide tomorrow what kind of leadership they want the next four years," said Mamdani. "Our time has come, New York, our time is now."
Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa made his way to Brooklyn, speaking to a crowd of his supporters in Bay Ridge and Flatbush.
"This is a campaign for people! Working class people, immigrants, who want to live the American dream... who escaped communism and socialism and come to this country that offers so much to so many," said Sliwa.
Independent candidate Andrew Cuomo stopped in each borough on Monday in an effort to sway Latino voters.
"We need a mayor who can stand up to Donald Trump and get New York the funding it deserves," Cuomo said. "Today we work, we knock on every door, we get everyone out to vote and we 'll have a better New York City than ever before," said Cuomo.
The former governor secured a last-minute endorsement from President Donald Trump on Monday night.
"I would much rather see a Democrat, who has had a Record of Success, WIN, than a Communist with no experience and a Record of COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURE," the president wrote in a post on Truth Social.
The president threatened to slash federal funds to New York if Mamdani were to be elected.
