Director and actor Rob Reiner was found dead in his California home, alongside his wife Michele, according to Los Angeles police.

On Dec. 14, authorities said the Rieners were found in their home with multiple stabs wounds. Los Angeles police say their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is now in police custody as the prime suspect in the investigation.

Rob Reiner was a Bronx native. His father, renowned actor, writer, producer and director Carl Reiner, grew up on Arthur Avenue in the West Bronx.

In 1943, Carl Reiner got married, moved to Kingsbridge Heights, and started a family. Rob Reiner grew up on the Grand Concourse, in the heart of Kingsbridge Heights.

Reiner began his education at JHS 80, The Mosholu Parkway School, when it was still an all-boys institution.

Reiner then moved cross-country to California to chase a dream. He would go on to become a legendary actor, director, writer and producer.
