Bronx residents began preparations on Christmas Eve ahead of snowstorm that's expected to hit the borough on late Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.

The snow accumulations are expected to be significant and could impact drivers on Saturday morning.

William Pedone at Van Nest Hardware says he has everything one would need to deal with that Saturday morning snow. He adds that it's better to prepared for what's to come.

"If it does get heavier, it will start to accumulate so I think when you wake up Saturday morning, you'll have some clearing to do," Pedone said.
