A Bronx man has been arrested for a violent hate crime that occurred at a Manhattan subway station in Dec. 2023, according to police.

Tavaughn Thompson is accused of making biased statements before repeatedly punching the victim’s face at the St. Nicholas Avenue subway station.

Authorities say he is charged with assault as a hate crime and aggravated harassment as a hate crime.
