A pedestrian was struck in Prospect Lefferts Gardens and the driver is on the run.

Police say it happened on Sterling Street just after midnight. The pedestrian was struck by a car that did not stay on scene.

EMS took the injured pedestrian to NYC Health+Hospitals/Kings County and is expected to recover.
