The Meadowlands is bracing for one of the biggest musical events of the summer as the highly anticipated "R&B Tour" arrives at MetLife Stadium for a massive two-night event.
The stadium has officially confirmed back-to-back dates on Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8. This event will feature two of the genre’s most iconic performers, Chris Brown and Usher, bringing together hundreds of thousands of fans for a historic celebration of R&B.
With MetLife Stadium boasting a capacity of over 80,000, these back-to-back performances will trigger significant travel adjustments for the North Jersey region.
Local officials in East Rutherford, Secaucus, and Rutherford are advising residents to prepare for heavy congestion. Expect increased volume on Route 3, Route 17, and the New Jersey Turnpike, particularly during Friday evening rush hour and throughout the day on Saturday.
