Roslyn students held a walk on Saturday to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving.

The second annual Drunk Driving Community Awareness Walk at East Hills Park was held in memory of Ethan Falkowitz and Drew Hassenbein.

The 14-year-old boys were killed in 2023 when authorities say Amandeep Singh drove drunk and high on cocaine and hit their car, going the wrong way at more than 90 mph.

"Talking about him, sharing his stories and the terrible, unfortunate incident that happened, maybe that creates change where everyone, not just you, but everyone in your lives thinks twice before doing something they're going to regret," said Ethan's father, Gary Falkowitz.

The student organizers said the walk was all about raising awareness and bringing the community together during times of hardship.
