It's a chillier than average forecast for Connecticut. We'll see some much needed rain across the state, but the timing is not great for Saturday afternoon plans. Sunday is the better day out of the weekend, but it's not perfect. We're tracking more wet and chilly weather next week.

It's a chilly start to the weekend with temperatures steady in the 40s and overcast skies. The best chance for dry time on Saturday will be in the morning with drizzle possible. Steadier rain will develop through the afternoon. About half an inch of rain is expected.
Morning showers are possible Sunday with peeks of sunshine in the afternoon. There is a bit of uncertainty in the forecast for Sunday with the potential for the storm to actually push back into New England instead of clearing out entirely. Overall though the best weather of the weekend appears to be Sunday afternoon
Monday is the "pick of the week" with near average temperatures and sunshine. Clouds will increase mid-week with rain likely Thursday and possible for Wednesday and Friday. Temperatures will warm up at the end of our 10 -day forecast.
