The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman wanted in connection to a violent assault on an 83-year-old man in the Bronx.
Police say the attack happened Monday, April 20, just after 1:30 p.m., near Southern Boulevard and East 167th Street.
According to investigators, the man was exiting a BX35 bus when he accidentally bumped into a woman. Police say the encounter quickly escalated.
Authorities say the woman became irate, pushed the man to the ground, and kicked him in the head multiple times.
The suspect then ran away, leaving the victim injured on the sidewalk.
