Police say a teen was charged with punching a 9-year-old boy inside Grant Park.
The incident happened on April 17 around 6 p.m. Police say the 15-year-old punched the boy multiple times in the face and hit him on the face with a cable charger. EMS took the boy, who had lacerations to his face, to BronxCare Health System. He is expected to recover.
The 15-year-old is being charged with assault.
Police are investigating what led to the attack.
