Mostly Sunny with a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon. Temperatures will be comfortable, climbing into the 60s this afternoon. Keep in mind, though, we can’t completely rule out a brief late-day shower passing through before sunset.
For tonight, skies will gradually become mostly cloudy as the next weather system approaches from the west. A few showers will move in overnight and continue into the early morning hours of Saturday. Overnight lows will generally settle into the upper 40s and lower 50s, so it will stay fairly mild through the night.
Saturday is shaping up to be a rather unsettled weather day. We’ll start with cloudy skies along with a couple of morning rain showers, and there could even be areas of drizzle and fog reducing visibility at times. During the afternoon, especially after 2 p.m., we’ll be tracking additional showers along with the threat for a few thunderstorms. High temperatures will stay on the cool side in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Rainy conditions continue Saturday night with scattered showers and the chance for thunderstorms as temperatures hold around 50 degrees.
For Mother’s Day on Sunday, the weather looks much better for brunch plans and outdoor activities early in the day. We’ll see a mixture of sun and clouds with temperatures warming close to 70 degrees by the afternoon. Late in the day, clouds will begin increasing once again, and there will be a chance for showers arriving around sunset. More widespread wet weather is expected to move in for your Monday.
