Sunshine is back today, making for a pleasant and comfortable afternoon with light winds and seasonable temperatures. Clouds gradually increase tonight ahead of the next storm system.
That system brings a much wetter and windier stretch beginning late Wednesday and continuing through Thursday. Periods of heavy rain and even a few thunderstorms are possible at times. Once the system clears out, temperatures rebound quickly, with sunshine returning and a major warm-up developing into the weekend and early next week.
