WHAT TO KNOW
The weather will be brighter and warmer this week, especially the next few days. Temperatures will jump up into the upper 70s and low 80s.
Winds will be light and out of the southwest, so areas closer to the Long Island Sound will be a couple of degrees lower due to the wind coming off the cooler water.
Connecticut will be in and out of the clouds the next few days with only a slight risk of a shower on Wednesday.
Temperatures will be warmest for the first half of the week, with seasonable 70s for the second half.
