The weather continues to finally improve following all the rain that the Hudson Valley had this past Memorial Day weekend and the lingering showers that started Memorial Day Monday. It is dry Monday evening with a variably cloudy sky overall, but there will be some breaks in the clouds at times. Temperatures are gradually dropping through the 60s through Monday evening.
Check out these rain totals from the past three days. This is beneficial rain, but of course, just poorly timed for the holiday weekend. It will not completely fix the moderate drought, but it does help. Drought status updates come out every Thursday morning.
