JetBlue is making targeted schedule adjustments, including ending service on a small number of underperforming routes, the airline said.

The company said it will redeploy aircraft to support growth at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport as part of its overall strategy.

"While we know it’s disappointing when JetBlue ends service on a route, this decision will allow us to better align flying with customer demand and strengthen our focus city strategy in South Florida," the airline said in a statement.

Customers impacted by the changes will be notified directly. The airline said affected customers may be able to select alternate JetBlue flight options where available or receive a full refund to their original form of payment. Customers will receive a full refund if alternate routes are not available.

It was not immediately clear which routes would be canceled.
