Man struck in the face with glass bottle inside Mexican restaurant in Concourse Village

Police say a 51-year-old man was struck in the face with a glass bottle inside a Mexican restaurant in Concourse Village and they are searching for the person responsible.

The attack unfolded at around 3:30 a.m. on May 17 inside Nuevo Azteca, located at 134 East 170th St.

A man walked up to the 51-year-old and started an argument, according to the NYPD.

The man then hit the victim with the bottle, causing a laceration to the right side of his face.

The victim went to Bronx Care Health System. Police say he is expected to recover.

The NYPD provided a photo of the man they are looking for. He is seen wearing a black sweatshirt with the word "fearless" in white lettering across the front.
