The MTA has installed Knicks‑themed lighting at several subway stations across the city ahead of the team’s NBA Finals appearance.
At the 34th Street–Penn Station entrance, globe light fixtures have been updated to display orange and blue colors and styled to resemble basketballs.
The station entrance itself has also been painted in Knicks colors as part of the display.
The fixtures have been styled to resemble basketballs as part of the agency’s citywide decorations marking the Knicks’ first Finals appearance since 1999.
