It was a stunning finish to the week. Lots of sunshine with seasonal temperatures.
A breezy pattern will continue to keep things fresh through tonight, with the winds finally settling down by Saturday night. Sunday Father's Day is shaping up to be absolutely perfect for anything outdoors, except tons of sunshine, low humidity, and beautifully comfortable, seasonable temperatures.
Make sure you enjoy the sunshine now, because a strong storm system moves in from the west early next week. We are looking at widespread, soaking rain on Monday. While it might ruin your outdoor plans, it’s a much-needed drink for our region, which is currently dealing with a severe drought. The storm will also bring in a cooler air mass, so expect temperatures to drop below average to start your week.
