A 56-year-old man was accidentally struck by a train on the southbound J platform at the Lorimer Street Station in Williamsburg on Friday.
A train conductor observed the man stumble into the train as it was departing. His head hit the moving train and he was thrown backward.
The man was alert and conscious after the accident but suffered a laceration to the head.
He was treated on scene by EMS.
