This week, Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration continued to work toward delivered on his campaign promises, launching the Next Stop Action Plan, a blueprint to speed up buses, improve accessibility, enforcement and comfort for riders across the city.

News 12’s Heather Fordham spoke one-on-one with Department of Transportation Mike Flynn about the more than $880 million investment.

In a last-minute move, city lawmakers scrapped a transparency mandate for roll-down gates one day before it was set to kick in.
