New York City Parks and Mayor Zohran Mamdani are looking to get parents to go for a night out with a new program.

City officials announced a free drop-off program that will give parents a chance to drop-off their kids, ages 6 to 13, for free at select NYC Parks centers across the five boroughs on Aug. 16.

The program is open to the first 500 city youth, but it's important to note that children must need a recreation center membership and fill out an event waiver.
