DoorDash says people can now use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, benefits to pay for eligible grocery items from participating Dollar Tree stores through its delivery platform.

The company said the option is available at all SNAP-eligible Dollar Tree stores on DoorDash across 48 states. Customers who add their SNAP or EBT card to the app can purchase more than 1,000 eligible items, including pantry staples and frozen foods, for on-demand delivery.

DoorDash said deliveries from Dollar Tree are completed in less than an hour on average, though delivery times may vary.

According to DoorDash, more than 4.5 million customers have added a SNAP card to the platform, which now includes more than 57,000 stores that accept SNAP or EBT payments.

The company cited a 2025 survey of customers who recently used SNAP or EBT on DoorDash, saying 71% reported that grocery delivery helped ensure they had enough food to last the month.

Customers can add a SNAP card through the DoorDash app and use eligible benefits to pay for qualifying grocery purchases at checkout. Any non-eligible items, fees or tips must be paid using another payment method.
