A 5-year-old boy fell from an apartment window in Fordham Heights on Sunday evening, according to the FDNY and NYPD.
News 12 was first on scene and obtained video that shows two police officers tending to the boy on the sidewalk before paramedics arrived. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday near Buchanan Place and Grant Avenue.
EMS rushed the boy to New York Presbyterian, where police say he is expected to recover.
Neighbors tell News 12 the child may have special needs.
