Gunman rips chain off victim’s neck in the Bronx
Police say a 66-year-old man was getting out of his vehicle when an unknown person approached him from behind, showed him a firearm and forcibly removed a chain from his neck.

Police are investigating a gunpoint robbery in Van Cortlandt Village where a chain was stolen.
They say the incident happened on July 25, near Sedgwick and Hillman avenues.

The person then left the scene on a Citi Bike southbound on Orloff Avenue.
Police say the victim had a laceration on his elbow but refused medical attention.
