Police search for man wanted in deadly shootings at Bronx deli, Brooklyn restaurant

A memorial filled with candles, messages, and pictures of a man known as “Pluccy” are growing outside of a Bronx deli after a deadly shooting Tuesday morning.
Police say 31-year-old Jesus Acosta was the man who pulled the trigger. Surveillance video shows Acosta in a maroon hoodie, gray sweatpants and white sneakers run inside 149 Grill & Deli on E 149th St. just after midnight.
Investigators say a 33-year-old customer was shot in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital, but didn’t survive his injuries.
Acosta can be seen running behind the counter and combing through a set of cash, before grabbing what appears to be a bag of chips and running out of the deli.
The gunman is also being connected to another deadly robbery on Sunday in Brooklyn.
Police say Acosta entered the fast-food restaurant, American Best Wings and Pizza on Rockaway Ave. just after midnight and opened fire on the employees.
A 44-year-old man was shot in the head and killed, while another employee was shot in the leg.
We’re told Acosta also took money from the cash register and fled the scene.
The Bronx District Attorney tells News 12 Acosta has been arrested five times in the Bronx. One of the charges date back to May 2015 for attempted murder. Acosta is accused of shooting a 20-year-old man in the left arm after an argument.
News 12 is working to confirm any prior arrests.
The investigation continues with no arrests at this time.
