Clouds will be collecting tonight. The winds becoming more southerly. This will start to drag more humid air up the east coast from the Carolina's and tropical Atlantic. End result...much muggier
Thursday brings a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a downpour potentially causing brief street flooding. Any severe storm brings the risk of damaging winds, hail, and an isolated tornado.
Lingering showers could make for a dreary start to the day on Friday. Leave a little extra time in the morning routine to deal with slowdowns. The end of the week won't be a washout. Clouds will mix with sun. There is a small chance an afternoon shower might appear. Any storm that develops would be brief and inconsequential.
Saturday and Sunday will be very nice. More sun than clouds and afternoon temperatures reaching into the low to mid-80s.
Bottom line: Keep the umbrella handy Thursday and Friday. Sunshine carries us through Saturday and Sunday.
