Moped rider snatches chain from 72-year-old woman in Bedford Park

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect who stole a gold chain from a 72-year-old woman in Bedford Park.
Investigators say the individual riding a blue moped approached the victim Monday at the corner of East 203rd Street and Valentine Avenue.
He ripped the chain from her neck and then took off in an unknown direction.
The woman sustained minor bruising but refused medical attention.
Police released images of the suspect at the scene.
