A Bronx woman who was severely burned in a barbershop fire has died.
The family of Shanti Quinones confirmed the 39-year-old’s death. On August 15, a fire tore through “La Roka Barbershop” on West Burnside Avenue. The FDNY says it was due to a lithium-ion battery.
Mourners have set up a memorial for Quinones outside of the barbershop.
