Man on the run after stealing $100K worth of jewelry in Kingsbridge

Police are looking for a man they say robbed another man of his jewelry in Kingsbridge.
The robbery happened on Sept. 7 in front of 318 West 231st St. just before 1:20 a.m.
A 39-year-old man was approached by a man from behind before displaying an unknown object and demanding property.
Police sources say multiple pieces of jewelry were removed from the victim including earrings, a pendant, bracelets and rings. Police say about $100,000 was stolen.
The thief was last seen wearing a multicolored jacket, dark-colored pants, and a black ski mask.
