Temperatures are on the rise over the next few days to the upper 70s to low 80s. As warmer temperatures return to the borough, so does the humidity and the chance of rain. Today will be warm and a bit humid with a mix of sun and clouds. Clouds gather tonight with a chance of a few sprinkles after midnight into Thursday morning.
An approaching cold front will bring a few spotty showers Thursday late afternoon into the evening. A few downpours can't be ruled out as humidity levels will be higher on Thursday. However, most of Thursday morning will be dry, but it will feel humid. A cooler and drier airmass moves in on Friday with warm temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
As humidity levels drop, clouds clear out and winds shift to the East on Saturday, temperatures will struggle to get out of the upper 60s. Another frontal system arrives late Saturday into Sunday introducing more chances of rain Sunday into early next week. A rainy and cooler weather pattern takes hold early next week with the risk of flash flooding. Stay tuned for updates.
