For more than 20 years, best friends Stephanie Schechter and Juliet Majmudar have shared a love of books.

Now, they're turning that passion into a new adventure on wheels. "I think our truck is now something people are starting to recognize around town," Majmudar says. "But even people who've seen it driving by haven't necessarily had the chance to step inside."

Their business, The Perfect Page, is an all-electric mobile bookstore that brings carefully curated reads to farmers markets, downtowns, and community events across the area.

Every title earns its place on the shelves. The selection is guided by monthly themes, local authors, and, of course, books they personally love. "People love to read, but walking into a bookstore can be overwhelming," Schechter says. "There are hundreds of titles in front of you. Every book we carry has been thoughtfully selected."

And because the bookstore is mobile, it can meet readers where they are. "A mobile bookstore does that," Majmudar adds. "But it also allows us to bring books to wherever that the need is, and whatever the interest is."
