A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting outside of a laundromat in Tremont, police say.
It happened near Washington Avenue and East 180th Street around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The NYPD says officers found the teen with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Paramedics rushed him to St. Barnabas, where he is expected to recover, according to police.
Detectives say the alleged shooter took off on a moped after the shooting, traveling southbound on Washington Avenue. He was wearing all black clothing.
