Police seek help identifying two suspects after 18-year-old is beaten, robbed in Port Morris

An 18-year-old was beaten and robbed in Port Morris early Sunday, and police are asking for the public’s help identifying the people involved.

Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 20 near 105 Willis Ave. A group of unidentified individuals approached the victim, and an argument followed.

The individuals then struck the victim multiple times and took his sweater before fleeing north on Willis Avenue, police said.

Emergency medical services responded, and the victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police say surveillance video captured images of the individuals sought in connection with the robbery.
