Three New York City schools were evacuated Tuesday following separate bomb threats, according to the NYPD.

Police say J.H.S. 157 in Queens received a threat around 8:44 a.m. from an unknown caller who claimed a pipe bomb was inside a black backpack at the school on 102nd Street.

The NYPD conducted a sweep of the school and found no explosive device.

No injuries were reported.

In Brooklyn, bomb threats were also called in to I.S. 201 on 12th Avenue and I.S. 239 on Neptune Avenue.

NYPD Emergency Service Unit and K-9 teams searched the schools and found nothing.

No injuries or arrests were reported.

New York City Public Schools said the buildings were evacuated as officials worked with the NYPD and FDNY to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Anyone who may have information about the incidents is urged to contact the police.
