Police are looking for a woman they say assaulted a 15-year-old girl in broad daylight in Crotona Park East.  

The assault happened back on Oct. 14 in front of 1716 Southern Blvd. just after 4:40 p.m.  

Investigators say the woman approached the 15-year-old girl and threw an unknown object at the teen before slapping her in the face.  

The 15-year-old girl refused medical attention at the scene.
