Fantastic fall weather for weekend activities across New Jersey

Frosty start for both weekend days with 20s and 30s on the map. Seasonably cool by the afternoon with highs into the 60s.

FORECAST:

The weather is about as perfect (for the time of year) as you could possibly want for any and all things fall and the activities that go along with it.

NJ_3.png

Today and Sunday are sunny and dry. Morning lows will be quite cold. Not record-breaking cold, but cold enough that freeze and frost conditions will develop. Highs will be in the mid-60s, which is exactly where the afternoon highs should be for late October.

Dry weather persists through next week with very limited rain chances. As of today, this is the seventh consecutive day where we have not recorded any measurable rain of a trace or more. That is the third-longest stretch this year. The longest was 12 days in April. The forecast is favoring another seven-plus days of dry weather. The fair weather system that is anchored over the East Coast right now could give us the driest stretch of weather all year long.
