A man was shot in Belmont Thursday, police say.
The incident happened on East 187th Street near Prospect Avenue around 1 a.m.
A 22-year-old man was shot in the left arm.
Police say they took a 25-year-old man into custody and recovered a gun.
Investigators say they believe the 25-year-old man shot the victim.
