Derick Colon, 24, is being charged with producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography. 

Federal prosecutors and the FBI announced on Wednesday that Colon allegedly exchanged the videos online, showing him engaged in explicit conduct with a minor approximately 6-8 years old. 

Authorities believe the child depicted may be a relative of Colon's. 

If convicted, Colon faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 55 years in prison.
