24th annual Little MO Tennis Tournament held in the Bronx

The 24th annual Little MO Tennis Tournament took place at the Cary Leeds Center for Tennis and Learning in the Bronx on Monday. 
It is well known for attracting prestigious players. The tournament is a year-long circuit of sectional, regional and national tournaments. 
The tournament attracted young players from all over Crotona Park. The event was put on by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation. 
She was the first American woman to win the grand slam but passed away in 1969. 
The tournament attracts players ranging from 8 to 12 years old. Those who win will advance to the nationals in Austin, Texas. 
The tournament will continue until Tuesday night.
