A man was slashed across the face and robbed on a train in the South Bronx, according to police.
It happened at the Jackson Avenue train station around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say two men approached a 26-year-old man on the southbound 2 train and slashed him across the face and hand before grabbing his backpack and leaving the train.
The victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police say they are still investigating.
