26,000+ runners take part in RBC Brooklyn Half

The 13.1-mile run tours past iconic sites such as the Brooklyn Museum, Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park and ends on the Coney Island boardwalk.

The New York Road Runners club hosted more than 26,000 runners for the RBC Brooklyn Half on Saturday.
The 13.1-mile run tours past iconic sites such as the Brooklyn Museum, Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park and ends on the Coney Island boardwalk.
The race also featured 1,700 young people participating in the free Boardwalk Kids Run dashes and one-mile races.
The marathon has served as the unofficial kickoff to summer for over four decades.
