Bronx residents got to celebrate Puerto Rican pride today on the Grand Concourse.
Thousands of people celebrated the 27th annual Bronx Puerto Rican Day parade with food, festivities and fun.
The theme of this year's 27th annual event is Puerto Rican folklore and culture. Organizers say it is important to continue passing down customs and culture from generation to generation.
More than 100 cultural groups took part in the parade, as the Bronx is home to the city's largest Puerto Rican population.
