The second annual Hoops for Junior event was held Saturday in Mott Haven, created to honor the life of the Bronx teenager and also inspire youth to practice non-violence with a game of basketball.

Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz's parents and sister were in attendance to celebrate the community peace-building event, which also honors all those who lost loved ones to gun, gang and street violence.

This year, three children were honored in a surprise ceremony.
