A three-alarm fire ripped through a women’s clothing store on Fordham Road Thursday night and sent three people to the hospital.
Fire officials say the fire sparked in the back of the Bon Bini store while customers were inside.
More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene.
Two firefighters and one police officer were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Fire officials say that because of the store’s high concrete walls, heat reflected to the lower levels of the floor creating difficulty for firefighters.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
