Three individuals are facing charges for the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old man from Pelham Bay, according to police.

Officers found Amir Ahmad with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest around 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 13.

Shortly after this discovery, police stated that they were searching for three gunmen who had fled the scene.

Wanderlin Mateo and Darlin Sanchez, both 18 years old, and 23-year-old Anglic Encarnacion were later arrested in connection with the incident.

The three are charged with murder, manslaughter, robbery and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
